Explanation of Matthew 10:34-39

Explanation of Matthew 10:34-39

34"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35For I have come to turn
”‘a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law—
36a man's enemies will be the members of his own household '.

37"Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; 38and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it (NIV).

My friend you need "The Holy Spirit of God" to be able to understand these very important statements that were made by Jesus Christ. Now here is the important question, what do they mean? Well I will make my explanation as short as possible while explaining these very important statements, and if God is willing you will be able to understand the message to this hidden truth.

34"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword (The sword that Christ is referring to is the message that he came to give (Ephesians 6:17). The message that Christ came to give would trouble mankind for it would reveal to them who they really are (John 3:19). 35For I have come to turn”‘a man against his father, (Christ is not saying that he will make his followers literal haters of their parents. What he is saying is that anyone who will become his follower must not live according to the desires of their parents for them that contradicts the word of God or The perfect will of God for their lives. In other words they must not live the lives of their parents that are without God in their lives. Read Matthew 22:34-38 and Exodus 20:3. One thing we have to have in our minds is that the Christian life is often times completely opposite to how a person desires to live their life (Isaiah 55:8- 9). For Example there are certain cultures in which the parents will want their children to participate in their pagan practices. As a Christian we have to know that pagan practices contradict the will of God and that we are not to follow them even if our parents desire us to. It will not be easy but with Gods help all things are possible (Ephesians 4:13). A daughter against her mother (a daughter that will not live according to the desires of her mother that contradicts the word of God). A daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law (a daughter-in-law that will not live according to the desire of her mother-in-law that contradicts the word of God). 36A man's enemies will be the members of his own household ( A Christian trying to live according to the word of God will not only have people outside of their household be their enemies but their Wife or Husband, and even children might also become their enemies as they try to live according to the word of God. If these things were to ever happen or is happening to you stay firm in God. I would also advice you to read the explanation that I give on 1 Tim 4:6-8. Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me (The message is clear you should not love anyone more than God, no one. Read Matthew 22:34-38, Mark 12:28-30, Exodus 20:3, Matthew 19:16-30, Luke 18:18-30), and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me (the taking of the cross is the taking of Gods will and deciding to live according to it every day, Hallelujah. Though it may be very difficult t we have to do it, this is our duty as Christians. I would like for you to read my explanation of Roman 12:1-2). 38and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me (You are not yet a Christian until you have decided to live according to the word of God. Unless you are living according to the word of God you should not be blaspheming God's establishment (Christianity) by calling yourself a Christian. A Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ. A follower of Jesus Christ is someone who lives according to his every word. Read John 14:15, James 1:22-25, 1 Pet 1:13-25, Colossians 3, Matt 5:13-20, 2 Timothy 2:15, Galatians 5:16-25, Matthew 7:21-27). 39Whoever finds his life will lose it (Whoever does not to live according to the word of God shall face everlasting judgment read Matthew 25, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Romans 6:23, 1Corinthians 15:56). Whoever loses his life for my sake will find it (whoever accepts Jesus Christ as their personal savior shall be granted "Eternal Life". To accepts Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior means that you accept to submit to his will for your life. As this happens Eternal Life shall be granted unto you. Read Revelations 22:2-5, John 14:1-3, 1 Corinthians 15:51-56, John 3:16, 1 Corinthians 5:1, Romans 8:1-2 and John 5:24)

Hallelujah, Thank You Lord for you promises.

May God Bless You

How to correctly understand the word of God

Does The Bible Give us the ingredients in understanding its message or is it some mysterious Book that only a few chosen people can understand by chance or by the grace of God?

Is the Bible only to be understood by chance or is by those who seek to understand its message?

There are certainly many different interpretations of the Bible in the World; there are almost as many interpretations of the Bible as there are readers themselves. It seems like everyone has an Interpretation to this mysterious book that they strongly believe in. This why there are so many different Denominations in the world with all of them claiming to have the correct Interpretation of the Bible. The question is this, is there truly a way to accurately understand the bible?

Well let me tell you my fellow believers in Jesus Christ there is, and it is told to us in the Bible.

To get to the level of being able to understand the Bible you have to read the Bible with a spirit that truly seeks to understand and submit to God. This is why in Luke 10:21, read also Mat 11:25, and Isaiah 66:2 It states: At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, "I praise you, Father (God The Father), Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things(hidden your truth) from the wise (Prideful) and learned (those who are no willing to learn of God’s truth. This is because of the fact that they think that they know everything), and revealed them to little children (those who are humbled. In other words those who are seeking God earnestly) Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure (In other words this was the will of God that those who are Prideful and know it all not understand him). Christ was primarily referring to all of the Jewish authorities at that time who were full of pride and thought that they knew everything. As a result , they were not able to understand that he who was among them (Jesus Christ) was “The son of God” or “The long awaited Messiah”. Because of the amount of pride that the Jewish ruling class had they were not able to understand the things of God as they thought they did. This is applicable also to anyone also who is prideful and Learned. Getting ride of Pride is very important in understanding God. This is why in James 4:6 it states: “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble” also read Proverbs 3:34 and Proverbs 1:7. You need my friend to have a heart that is sincerely seeking after God not what your mother or you father taught you about God, but rather what the scriptures say about God. You need to have a personal relationship with God for yourself, and meditate upon God’s word. I would like for you to read (Joshua 1:8-10, 1 Timothy 4:13, 2 timothy 2:15, 1Thessalonians 5:21, Acts 17:11). Read your Bible. There is no possible way that you can have a true relationship with God without reading your Bible. This is very important in growing in God. After God recognizes that your have a heart that is seeking him truly he will give you his Spirit [The Holy Spirit] and it’s by having his Spirit living in you that you will be able to understand him (1 Corinthians 2:9-16, James 4:8, Proverbs 1:23). You cannot understand God without his Spirit and you cannot receive his Spirit unless you are truly seeking him. Seek God sincerely, stay away from doctrines that cannot be proven by the scriptures (1Thessalonians 5:21). To seek God sincerely means that you are willing to serve him as he commands not as you would like, but as he commands (John 14:15-21, John 4:24). You must live the life that the scripture tells you to live, you must believe only what the scriptures tell you to believe. Also my friend it's not only good to have a desire to serve God, but to act upon that desire. Only having the desire to serve God is not enough, this is why a spirit that seeks to submit to God is so important. A spirit that seeks to act upon the desire to serve God will have God wanting to give you more of him. The more of God's Spirit that you receive and that you work with the more of his Spirit you will receive. So act upon the desire to serve God. read (James 1:22-26, Matthew 7:24-28). If you are a true seeker of God he will reveal himself to you. Stay away from false doctrines it’s through reading your scriptures and having the Holy Spirit that you will be able to identify false doctrines. I will say no more, if you have a question write it on the comment box and I will do my best to answer or even a comment I will truly appreciate.

Explanation of Ezekiel 36:24-27

—Ezekiel 36:24-27

24 " 'For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land. 25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws (NIV).

These old Testament verses are complete pictures of the changes that God will do in the lives of all of those who accepts his son. In these same verses we also see the Explanation of what shall take place as the nation of Israel is being restored in God. These verses are primarily dealing with The Restoration of the nation of Israel. Everything that is told about the adventure in Christ of a believer shall happen to the nation of Israel.

There are changes that are made in our lives when we find The Lord.
Oh How wonderful is God and the changes that he will make in our lives.

24 " 'For I will take you out of the nations (God will take you out of the things of the world. In other words God will take you away from living the life of those that are without him [The Heathens or The wicked] ). I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land (That is a picture of God putting us into his church or the Body of Christ) After you have been added to the Body of Christ there are other things that takes place. I would like for you to pay close attention to these things. 25 I will sprinkle clean water on you (This particular part of the verse pictures the baptism of water) you will be clean (through the Baptism of water one is clean in the eyes of God from all of their pass sins (Acts 2:38) As a believer finds God, God desires for there to be a completely new beginning in their lives, and this begins by a believer being Baptized). I will cleanse you from all your impurities(sins) and from all your idols (God will take you away from the things of the world. God will take you away the former God's or God that you use to serve(from serving the Devil). I will give you a new heart ( the giving away of a new heart pictures the giving of a new spirit. God shall give you a new spirit as a believer. A spirit that is according to his will. This will be done through the listening and reading of his word). And put a new spirit in you (That's the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38). When one receives the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, The Spirit of God is added unto this person's life. It is up to this person whether or not the Holy Spirit grows or decreases in their Life. Whether the Holy Spirit grows or decreases depends on whether or not you continue to live according to his word). I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh(This is a great statement showing the differences that will be made in the life of a believer in God. These changes will not be forced upon but will happen gradually as a believer draws closer to God. Notice the fact that a stone is hard and flesh is soft. God is referring to the fact that he will put in you his love; the love of god. Which means that you will LOVE not only yourself but GOD and your NEIGHBORS. So the believer goes from a heart full of hatred to a heart full of love). And I will put my Spirit (Holy Spirit) in you and move you (Help you) to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws (That's the purpose of having the Holy Spirit in our lives; The Holy Spirit is there to lead you unto all truth's (John 16:12-15. We are being led into all truth when God is opening up our understanding concerning his word. There is no one that will Truly Understand the word of God and Yet sin easily or even sin at all. There is a difference between Knowing God and Understanding God. The Holy Spirit is there to allow you to Understand God and his expectations of you. By Truly understand God that will lead you to being Righteous in the eyes of God. By having the Holy Spirit you will also know that God is willing to Help you live according to his word but it is up to you on whether or not this happens ).

Explanation of Romans 12:1-2

Romans 12:1-2

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (KJV).

To live according to God’s will is a sacrifice, a sacrifice of one’s own life.

I beseech you therefore (I am urging you). Brethren (those who have decided to become followers of Jesus Christ) by the mercies of God (the immense goodness or love of God). That ye present (offer God). Your bodies (the meaning of this particular word in this verse is ‘’LIVES’’. In other words each Christian is to offer their "life" to God. The reason why the meaning of "bodies" in this verse has to do with a persons life is because whatever you allow your Body to be a part of will have an influence over your life; either the influence being small or major. After you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior God Opens himself up to help you live according to his word, but you will only be able to access this help if you accept it. This is why Paul says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13). God is willing to help you to live according to his word, but you have to accept his help for his righteousness to work in your life). A Living Sacrifice (accept to submit under the will of God). By submitting yourself to the will of God or by accepting to live according to the word of God, you are offering your body as a living sacrifice. Holy (without sin; for God says “be holy for I your lord is Holy” (Leviticus 11:44, 1 Peter 1:16) God Expect you to be without Sin, you have to accept his help as much as possible for this to happen. Do not, and I repeat Do not listen to people who tells you that God does not care whether or not you sin. Look at what happened to Adam. God wants you to live a sinless life, and it is possible with his help). You have to Submit yourself completely to God, This will help you to live the sinless life that God desires of you. When this occurs you are offering to God your body as a sacrifice that is Holy unto him. Acceptable unto God (According to God’s will. Something that is acceptable unto God is always according to his will). Which is your reasonable service (In other words, this is the duty of every one of you who have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior). 2 And Be not conformed to this world (do not live as those who are not of the Christian faith. There are many and I mean many of those who call themselves Christians but is yet following the DRESS CODE of the world , the way that the world TALKS, the kind of MUSIC that they play and even the LIFE that they live. If a person is following any of these world trends then this person is not and I repeat not a Christian. A Christian is a follower of Christ not the world). but be ye transformed (but allow your carnal spirit or nature to be changed). By renewing of your mind (Allow this “spirit” or nature that is within you to be changed according to the word of God). that ye may prove what is that good (then you will be able to discern what is according to the will of God). The will of God is Acceptable (Righteous). And Perfect (without any errors).

Explanation of Hebrew 4:12

Hebrew 4:12

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart (NIV).

WOW how powerful is the word of God!

The word of God
(the truth that is within the word of God or The Bible which is the inspiration of god according to 2 Tim 3:16, this can also be applicable to anything spoken by God ) is living (has life to it), and active (not only is it alive but it has power, and the writer goes on to illustrate it's power) Sharper than any double-edged sword(more powerful than THE MOST powerful of man made swords or weapons) it penetrates ( It has the power to change) to dividing( to take away the influence ) soul ( The word soul in Hebrew is Nephesh (נפש) which literally translates to "living being" or "living creature". According to Genesis 2:7 The LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul (KJV), also read 1 Cor 15:45, and Mat 16:25-26. Contrary to popular beliefs concerning the soul, the meaning of soul is "living being" or to put it into easier terms; the soul or life derives from the breath or spirit aligning up with the body. Notice the fact that I put the word "life" as another way to call the soul, this because that's what the soul is it's the life essence of the person. I would like for you to read carefully my statements concerning the soul. Maybe one day I will explain a little bit more concerning this very misunderstood subject but for now read the bible for yourself concerning this very misunderstood subject. So the Soul has to do with a persons LIFE). And spirit, ( this has nothing to do with the HOLY SPIRIT, it has to do with the carnal spirit that is within every person that is without God in their lives). In other word the word of God has the power to take away of the influence of the carnal nature (spirit of man) from the life (soul) of a person. Hallelujah for the word of God All-mighty, Hallelujah. Joint and Marrow (The writer is just continuing to show the power of the word of God. Notice the fact that you need both the bones and marrow to walk, so in a spiritual sense the word of god has the power to change the life that you live. This new way of living will be according to God's Instructions). It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart (God’s word allows him to know where you stand spiritually, or how close and far you are from him. This why every Christian is to examine themselves with the word of God for it is what you shall ultimately be judge according to).

Explanation of 1 Timothy 4:6-8

1 Timothy 4:6-8

6For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing (KJV).

This is at the end of Paul's life that he is writing to Timothy. The Victory that is told in these verses should be the Goal of every Christian. Fight the Good Fight.

For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand
(Paul is saying to timothy that the time of his death could be at any minute. Remember at one point of Paul life he was a persecutor of the Christian people. Paul is now explaining to timothy what happened as he received the revelation of the truth of the word of God). I have fought a good fight (It is not a literal fight with anyone that Paul is referring to, If you have taken your time to read the writings of Paul or his life after the conversion you would learn that Paul was a pacifist(after the conversion). It is good to note that there were those that stood against Paul but God always provided a way for him. The fight that Paul is referring to is the fight against his will or the carnal nature which resides in him). I have finished my course ( His course represents the work that God had given him to do or the lifestyle that was expected of him by God) I have kept the faith ( Through all the difficulty that came his way Paul still remained as an Honest follower of Jesus Christ) Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness (Because he kept the faith "EVERLASTING LIFE" was awaiting him). Which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day (Paul shall be given Eternal life and an opportunity to reign with Christ during the appointed time of his righteous reign). There is an appointed time in which everlasting life shall be granted that only god knows). And not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing (Paul is saying that it is not only him that shall be granted Eternal life, but anyone who truly accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior shall also be granted the same reward also.)
